Sebastian Jenkins –
I have gout and it flared for more than a week which made me stop taking indomethacin and switching to allopurinol. Allopurinol has been the one that was really prescribed for me but I stayed with indomethacin since it’s the one that was already working for me even before I was prescribed with allopurinol. My principle in life has always been keeping what’s working and leave what’s not. In this case, I wasn’t planning on stopping indomethacin since it was really doing a good job until it didn’t. I am now sticking with allopurinol since it worked.
