Frankie Mason –
November of last year I was diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer then during the start of this year, I was started on gefitinib because when doc compared my CT scan of last year to the ones I’ve gotten on January this year, it showed that the tumor increased in size by about 80%. After about two months of being on this medication, I had another CT scan last month and it shows that there is a 42% reduction in size. So I’ll be continuing with this drug and hope that further reduction will take place. I did experience with some side effects such as dry skin and nausea but I’d gladly take it since it’s definitely better than have my tumor increase in size.
