Why use Etifem-200mg?
Etifem-200mg is an FDA approved drug in treating Paget’s disease. Paget’s disease is the second most common type of bone disease after osteoporosis. This type of disease occurs when there is a problem in the bone remodeling process. During the process, the body absorbs old bones and forms a new but abnormal one in an incorrect location.
How does Etifem-200mg work?
Etifem-200mg contains Etidronate Sodium as its active ingredient. Etidronate Sodium belongs to the class of drug known as bisphosphonates. It works by slowing the bone loss. It makes the bone strong and less likely to break. It also reduces the pain that comes with the disease. Etidronate Sodium binds with the hydroxyapatite crystals in the matrix of the bone. As a result, the number of osteoclasts decreases thus decreasing also the bone resorption.

Ronnie Hart –
I have hypercalcemia and it already formed some kidney stones inside my body. My back hurt a lot and peeing is painful too. A doctor told me that I might need to undergo surgery so I looked for alternative treatments for both my kidney stones and hypercalcemia. I got etidronate sodium for hypercalcemia and lab results shows significant improvement in my calcium levels. It’s starting to normalize again.
